„CONCERT AT THE NURSING HOME BY VOLUNTEER STUDENTS“
As part of the Erasmus+ project titled „Raising the conscious citizens of tomorrow; THE NECESSITY OF A NEW MULTICULTURAL DEMOCRATIC CULTURE,“ Çorum Mehmetçik Anatolian High School visited the Kamile and Hacı Ahmet Akdağ Life House. Emine Yılmaz, the philosophy teacher who serves as the project coordinator, stated that the main objectives of this visit, which took place within the scope of December 5th, World Volunteers Day, were to uplift the spirits of the elderly residing in institutions, prevent them from feeling abandoned, and encourage our students to engage in volunteer activities. During this visit, a small concert was performed by the music group consisting of students from Mehmetçik Anatolian High School, under the guidance of music teacher Kemal Ateş. The visit was marked by emotional moments, and our elderly guests had a great time, relieving stress and enjoying themselves.
